My friends often say
I’m a little bit funny
Because my ears are too big
and my nose a bit runny
When they watch me running
and jumping around
Sometimes they say,
“could you please slow down?”
But don’t you change
Dear Rabbit they say
Though you are a bit funny
we love you that way.

“Oh you gave me a scare!”
You are often so quiet
we forget that you’re there
But please don’t be loud

“your nose is high in the air”
And they say as a joke,
“we know you don’t care”
But they’re happy I can see
so very, very far
So sometimes I don’t see
what’s going on where we are
Please don’t you ever change
Tall Giraffe they say
Though your head’s in the clouds
we like you that way

“Old Tortoise is so slow”
It’s hard to know
if he comes or he goes
But please don’t run fast
